About Justin Langford

I'm a Principal Consultant for a Microsoft Gold Partner called Coeo.  I'm based in London and travel around the UK and across Europe helping customers get the best from SQL Server.  Coeo offer SQL Server consultants, dedicated engineering (monthly on-site visits and support escalation) and managed services (remote DBA) and I'm involved with delivering each of these services in one shape or form.

My focus is around SQL Server performance, scalability and availablity of the OLTP engine.  I've also worked on a number of SQL Server upgrade and troubleshooting engagements.  I enjoy using technology to deliver business benefit and I'm always interested to see good Return on Investment for any IT project and customer I work with.

Prior to joining Coeo, I spent three years at Microsoft working as a Premier Field Engineer delivering proactive engagements around SQL Server.  Customers were typically banks or government looking to get more from some significant SQL Server estates!  Last year I co-authored a Wrox IT-Pro book on SQL Server Performance Troubleshooting, and have also contributed to a Biztalk Performance Optimisation Guide.
