SSIS - 64 Bit woes

I am starting to regret installing 64 bit vista on my laptop, my woes are continuing as I found out today I can't debug script tasks.

I do hope this is fixed in Katmai :)

The full limitations, and there are a few, can be found here

Also, don't try and use Excel with 64bit - as I understand it there are no (and no plans for?) 64bit Jet drives, and that means lots of fun with SSIS and Excel.

I haven't done it yet, but I understand you can either configure the package to run in 32 bit mode, or else run it via the 32bit exe, if you have to use Excel.

Have you done that? Maybe you can correct me, or point out a 3rd, better way?

Thanks, hadn't found the ms link, and been fighting trying to get Business Intelligence Development Studio working, and of course it fails.  The link clearly states that its not installed.

Shesh, and the boss made me install Vista 64bit Ultimate.  Wish I'd just stayed with XP.  With Vista I can't even print.  have to open up an xp virtual machine to print.

I really need a life
