Writing blog posts

Steve Jones has been talking about how and when to blog.

I started off by using my blog as a notebook. Stuff I found that I wanted to keep. Google and Bing are great for finding your content after the fact. I had many years of rembering that I had done something 12 months before but couldn't find it. After blogging it I was easily able to find this content.

You will also be suprised how the simplest thing will be very popular. Some of my most popular posts are.

Its not wrong to put something up that is the docs. Most peole don't read books on line. Its easier to search using your favourite search engine
